I'm sure it's a good recruiting tool for NTEU as well. I especially What are federal employees saying about how they work for their country? ”DOE always seems to be on the short end of the news...No one seems to know that the energy efficient (Low-E) glass was invented at DOE's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory or that DOE research results gave EPA the confidence to remove sulfur from diesel fuel thereby helping to clean the air of "smoky" diesel particulates. I could cite dozens of other accomplishments (e.g. Solar Photovoltaic Energy panels, Hybrid-Vehicle Batteries, wind turbines, nuclear power Plants, Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Clean Coal Technology, to name a few) produced by DOE research but the general public knows little of how they came about. NTEU can really help get the word out. Thanks!”
